County Manager to Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting
County, city officials and community leadership to discuss contingency plans after Shelter in Place ordinance expires
HENRY COUNTY, GA- April 29, 2020— Henry County Government and County Manager Cheri Hobson-Matthews will hold a virtual town hall meeting to keep citizens well-informed about Henry County objectives regarding the coronavirus. The meeting will be held this Friday, May 1 at 10 a.m., powered by Zoom.
Citizens are encouraged to log in on Friday, May 1 for an overall update on community service matters. Participants for the town hall include Henry County School Superintendent Mary Elizabeth Davis, who will discuss distance learning, meals and homeschooling tips; Joe Henning, Henry County Chamber Executive Director, who will discuss small business resources; and city and county officials, to discuss their thoughts and recommendations on moving forward through this pandemic.
The panelists will be prepared to answer questions from citizens via Facebook Live.
