It's almost Fall, y'all! Time for some COVID-safe autumn fun!

Contest entry is FREE! Entries will be assigned a spot on either side of the Train Viewing Platform located at 3786 Hwy 42 Locust Grove, GA. Each 12x12 space will be assigned on Friday, September 25th by 12:00 Noon. Spaces will be marked by a labeled utility flag. Businesses in the Historic Downtown may utilize the sidewalk in front of their business. You may attach coupons, information, or business cards using a zip-lock bag.

 

Please complete the entry form and return to City Hall (PO Box 900 Locust Grove, GA 30248) or email to aogg@locustgrove-ga.gov by September 22nd. You may begin working on your scarecrow onsite starting September 25th, and it must be finished and in place by Friday, October 2nd at 12:00 PM for contest judging. Contest winners will be announced Friday, October 2nd at 5:00 PM. Please make sure your entry form is legible! All scarecrows must be removed by 8:00 AM November 2nd.

 

Winners will be chosen out of each of these categories:

1 ) Best Business Scarecrow
2) Best Scarecrow wearing a face mask
3) Best scarecrow from a non-profit organization
