Also on the Ballot is the question for voters inside the City Limits to approve a Homestead Exemption from City of Locust Grove ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes in the amount of 100% of the assessed value of the homestead. In accordance with Act 655, HB 1399 of the State Legislature approved and signed April 25, 2022. Act is provided below:
